'Famous Tartan Army Magazine' is written and produced by Scotland fans. Supporting the National Teams....promoting the fans
PUBLISHING AWARD
The magazine captures the team news, interviews current
and ex players, catches up with the manager, interviews celebs, includes Woman's football and the youth set up. We meet the tartan army close up and cover SOME of their amazing and humorous stories ! But only some stories are told as the protocol is upheld of 'what goes on tour, stays firmly on tour ;]
As well as telling the fans stories, and debating team performances, we welcome contributions from you the fans, so please feel free to contact us with ideas, written pieces or photos, and we will try our best to include in a future edition.
We are also the proud winners of an award presented to us at the coveted The Scottish Periodical Publishers Award Ceremony.

IT'S ABOUT WINNING :)
Winning a court case against us for £300,000 !
The magazine and editor recently won an historic intellectual property court case at The Court Of Session in Edinburgh, when two businessmen claimed that we should pay a license fee to them to use the name 'tartan army' in our title. We refused as they did not 'own' the name 'Tartan Army' for publishing, and certainly not the name 'Famous Tartan Army Magazine' that we had used for some time. They also claimed that we were ‘passing off’ as them.
They sued us for £300,000 (yes Three hundred thousand pounds!!) but they lost. WE WON as Lord Glennie ruled in our favour and so we can now get back to the business of supporting our beloved team and to tell the fans stories :)
Anyway, thanks to LORD GLENNIE...common sense has prevailed.
